REPLACEMENT ULTRAROOF ORANGERY
County gets a huge kick out of reinventing old orangeries. All that was missing here was the game-changing UltraRoof.
Thinking about demolishing their old orangery, the occupants of this home approached County to see if anything could be done to improve the heat efficiency of their home. Their existing orangery, while attractive, was fitted with old-style conservatory glass, causing their home to be cold in the winter and far too hot in the summer. The cost of their heat and air bills were soaring, so something had to be done with the current structure.
We were delighted to offer the perfect solution to the couple’s heating and cooling problems – Ultraroof. After we measured up, we were confident the product we’d recommended would not only solve the temperature issue but would extend the life of their existing orangery, allowing the homeowners to enjoy their space without the worry of leaks or problems that would inevitably occur if they failed to upgrade.
Three Ultraroof glass panels were installed, providing protection from the harsh sun during the day while keeping the space warm and cosy in the evenings. Knowing that the newly renovated orangery could be used no matter the time of day, the couple extended the space to accommodate a combined lounge, kitchen and dining space.
To ensure the existing structure could hold the weight of the new glass, fresh windows and doors were installed at the same time, in a stunning golden oak finish. A set of double doors were installed at the end of the orangery, providing a stunning setting for garden parties and family get togethers on warmer days.
