A solid roof looks at home on a conservatory…
Further to warmth, solid roofs are arguably more aesthetically pleasing both internally and externally and are highly energy efficient. Solid roofs can be used as a replacement roof on an old conservatory or orangery or as part of a new extension.
We can add roof windows to your tiled roof conservatory so you don’t lose natural light. In addition, we can insert spotlights and speakers to the perimeter of the ceiling.
An efficient installation
We can promise an efficient fitting because the roof is pre-made to your specific measurements, which means low waste and minimal disruption to your life.
You have the option to upgrade to a traditional tile roof capping, but many of our customers love our modern aluminium ridges and hip capping which comes as standard with our tiled roofs.
Tiled roof conservatory features
County’s team of designers love to listen to your ideas and will happily talk you through the many features of a tiled roof conservatory. They can incorporate your vision into every step of the design.
Although not essential, we encourage you to bring a handful of measurements and photographs to your design appointment. We will take precise measurements and current photographs upon our visit to your home.
Tiled Roof Insulation
The materials complied to make the Warm Roof, including rigid insulation board and insulated plywood, are thermally efficient and prevent heat loss, keeping the room at a more comfortable temperature all year round and increasing its usability.
Tiled Roof Tiles
Externally the lightweight roof coverings emulate the appearance and colour of traditional roofing tiles or slate so that you can choose a finish that is in-sync with the rest of the property.
Tiled Roof Glass
Available with a variety of styles and roof glazing to suit all, so you can find the best option to suit you and your home. Glass panels and Velux windows can be seamlessly integrated exactly where you want them.
Pelmet
Fully insulated internal Pelmet which gives a room-like feel and is ideal for downlights and speakers.
FINISH YOUR ROOF OFF IN STYLE
County has a carefully selected range of finishing touches for our tiled roof conservatories, including various attractive colours and rugged tile options.
Choose between two excellent tile styles for your conservatory
Solid roof tiles are tough, cost effective and look great. At County, we offer two types of solid roof covering: lightweight tiles and lightweight slates.
Our lightweight tiles come in five varied colours, whilst our lightweight slate looks virtually identical to natural slate such is the amount of time and effort put into its production. Both are completely weatherproof and maintenance-free.
An affordable, easy-clean material with weather-resistant qualities for your frames…
It’s no surprise why many homeowners in Kent and Sussex continue to opt for UPVC frames for their conservatory over other lesser-known materials. It has been the most popular kind of material for the last two or three decades due to its low-maintenance and reliability, and its popularity is not slowing down anytime soon. A UPVC conservatory also performs exceptionally well when it comes to weatherproofing & thermally efficiency.
It's all about the view with aluminium...
We can mould and shape aluminium frames without difficulty due to the robustness of the material, creating unique structures in a variety of shapes and sizes. This has allowed us to fulfil our customers’ vision time and time again because we can create modern, flexible designs.
Aluminium conservatories are also a favourite due to their strength, so they can be moulded into slender designs using less material, placing the importance on the glazing and view. If natural light is important to you, as it should be, we strongly recommend you consider an aluminium conservatory for your property.
Timber will make your conservatory appear more charming and rustic.
Timber frames create a natural, raw look to homes, which will add texture to your elected conservatory style. The quality of our timber is remarkable, which makes it so easy for us to champion the material. If you choose timber, your County advisor will guide you through our variety of hardwood possibilities, including Sapele, Oak and Meranti and help you find the perfect option for your conservatory.
As for the finish, it can be fully painted in an assortment of colours and in that case, we use micro porous paint, so the timber is able to breathe. Alternatively, if you want a more natural-looking finish, we can also stain the timber instead.
Beautiful window handles for your frames…
Lovingly made by experienced craftspeople, our handles have been crafted in a range of classic and modern styles to suit every kind of home.
To keep your home secure, each individual handle has a secure locking system built in, giving you full peace of mind.
You only need to come to us

We make it our mission to provide you with regular updates as we bring you up to speed on our progress. We’ll keep you informed so you can count down the days until you can enjoy your new tiled roof conservatory.

GLASS ROOF CONSERVATORIES
We wouldn’t label something a “classic” unless we felt that it was wholly justified, and our classic glass roof conservatories fit the bill. There is a series of conservatory styles within our classic range, including Edwardian, Victorian, Gable and Lean-To conservatories, and they generally encompass a dwarf wall.
