Finishing touches. They matter

Nowadays there are also curved units as well as traditional cuboid shapes – and that’s just the outside. It’s always a delight to maximise the space in your kitchen by incorporating top quality Kesseböhmer wire work, pull out larders and secret corner spaces! These maximise the useable areas but also allow you to ‘see’ what’s in your cupboards and access them easily. The right handles matter, as do finishing touches like inset framing and end panels. Choose from plinths, cornices and pilasters; find hidden features like pop up electrics or disguised extractor fans. And complete with that all important lighting. We do all this and more so call us today.

Worktops, tiles & flooring – finishes matter

The worktop, flooring and tiles you choose to complement your kitchen are the ways you can add your signature and stamp your personality on your new kitchen – make it unique. Worktops come in a variety of materials: granite, quartz, marble and timber for the original ‘natural’ look; or how about Silestone and Caesarstone? Tiles from County encompass ceramic, porcelain and marble. And we’ve flooring from Karndean and vinyls from Polyfloor or Espona. Then there’s Engineered timber or the farmhouse paved look. And would that be with Warmup electric underfloor heating perhaps? County have the answer here too!

Worktops

Yes, it’s about utility – how you use it. But it’s also how you see it. We are your first call for natural finishes such as granite and marble. We have a superb range of formed worktops such as Silestone and Ceasarstone and even Samsung. Of course we can still tile it or cover it with resin. Or you may prefer something else? So we also have wood laminates in Formica, Duropal, Prima, and Odyssey as well as  solid wood worktops in oak and beech or any other wood you prefer. All in sizes and styles to enhance your home. And all built to last. We template cut and fit the worktop, attach the under sink or inset hob and secure it all. It’s just part of the County service.

Tiles and splashbacks

Tiles have been an integral part of the kitchen for hundreds of years. Indeed the original designs have never really gone out of fashion in older homes and cottages. But now there’s a stunning selection of tiles to suit your taste – however conservative or outrageous it may be! Tiles come in ceramic, porcelain, glass and mosaic – and being a tile distributor ourselves we are usually able to supply tiles more economically than other retailers. Recent design trends have seen other materials used as splashbacks in preference to tiles, including glass in any colour and stainless steel. Not only do they protect – they look great too. We can even put your picture on the wall by painting it into the glass. Now – what would you like?

Floors

Of course the floor is the foundation upon which your beautiful new kitchen will be built, but don’t overlook it as a way of adding character and personality. The wide choice of coverings and finishing’s. Of colours and textures can be daunting.

We lay them all and can help you choose between solid engineered wooden floors, laminate click forms, paving stones, tiles or vinyl. Even polished concrete.

We’re proud to be an approved Karndean distributor and installer and can also Espona and Polyfloor alternatives. And while we’re fitting the floor, as a Warmup electric underfloor heating distributer and installer. Don’t forget to keep our toesies warm. There’s nothing quite like Warmup underfloor heating on a cold morning!

Making light work of things – without the internet

If you are using a complete kitchen company service then you want it all from one source. And you want to get the appliances and accessories fitted too and at the right price. While we cannot guarantee to completely match the online price every time,  do consider peace of mind and what we do that the internet cannot. We unpack and take away the packaging. And if there is damage or a dent in a supplied product from us, we replace it with no question. We deliver it to your door free of charge. We fit it free of charge as part of any supply and fit kitchen and connect it to a safe and checked electrical or plumbing supply. Try getting that on the internet.

County are so much more than the internet. We’re just around the corner for ALL these things – making light work of your decision. Oh, and we can supply ANY brand and ANY appliance!

Appliances

We can supply you with ANY brand and ANY type of appliance! As independent retailers we’re able to supply you with exactly your preferred brand, or are happy to recommend our own favourites. It’s all about you! Some of the brands we supply include NEFF, Capel, Siemens, Franke, Villeroy & Boch… the list goes on. From cookers and hobs – gas or induction, to fridges, freezers and dishwashers. We can provide the right appliance to fit the right aperture – first time, saving money and frustration with your fitted kitchen.

So now you know we can provide a service better than the internet. In most cases we’ll match or beat the prices on many products when you order a full supply only or supply and fit kitchen. Try us!

Coolers and Lighting

White goods such as fridges, fridge freezers, hobs and ovens are perhaps the first things you think of in a kitchen, but there’s also wine coolers, microwaves, coffee makers, extractor fans… why not have them designed into your new kitchen to make a fully integrated workspace. Then why not include some lighting to show them off to best effect: there are downlighters, plinth lights, hidden lights, coloured lights, phased lights. They’re an important and often overlooked item in the design. Your kitchen will be the room no one wants to leave. It could be the cool lighting that keeps you there… or the wine cooler. Either way they finish your room off perfectly, every day.

Accessories to make life, well… easier!

Hidden away, but no less important, are the small details that can make a big difference to how useable your kitchen is: wire trays, secret corner cupboards, cutlery drawer inserts, wine racks and wicker baskets. We’ll consider them all when we’re designing your new kitchen. Quooker hot water taps take the effort out of making the tea, as does a built in coffee maker. And don’t forget the spice drawer – finally you can ‘see’ the jars and know you can cook with confidence.
